More Life drawing updates
Here are some of the more satisfactory drawing i did in the last few months. :) This last month, I have been trying to explore the usage of vine charcoal and doing some form of rub out process. I would coat the whole paper with a layer of vine charcoal, effectively making the paper mid-tone and then try to bring in the darks and rub out the lights. I find this method a very efficient one and the subtle tone vine charcoal is able to bring out really attracts me. Expect more of this sort of drawing from now on :D

Who say heads are easy to draw
Seems like i naturally lean towards details and neat rendering. I wondering if it is my inclination in art and whether i should move forward in that direction. I have been trying to find art that resonate with me, and find a style that would suit my temperament. It might not be a clear style and i think it is constantly evolving.

More head studies
Concentrating on heads. Last week we got a model with an interesting face. I feel i manage to get the feel of his face quite nicely and I am quite satisfied with this portrait. Let's hope this feeling will stay with me !
And joined my sketch topic blog with my friends. sketchbunnies.blogspot.com
First topic is "Who stole my pencils!" and here is mine piece. I think I am heavily influenced by a piece by Jon foster.

More figure drawing!
I am still building my foundational skill in figure and portrait drawing. I feel that if I can master my drawing skill via studying the human figure, I can move on to more advanced topics of picture making and composition with more ease. So here are some I did end of last month and early this month.
